With our children's programming, the John D. Fuller, Sr. Recreational/Athletic Complex is quickly becoming the most family-friendly recreational facility in Fayetteville.  We are committed to the enhancement and maintenance of a healthy lifestyle for all ages. We realize that programming from early childhood through the teen years is particularly important. That's why we are pleased to offer these safe, innovative and expertly designed programs for children:

Children’s Play Center (3-5 years)

The Children’s Play Center is a supervised play area for children between the ages of 3 years and 5 years.  The Play Center is designed to provide a safe, caring, consistent and enriching environment where children can have fun and enjoy their visit while in our care.  Play Center staff continuously strives to increase and encourage an environment of support and affection, as well as provide the material and resources required to enhance the experience of each child.

CHILDREN’S PLAY CENTER HOURS:
           

Spring Playground Day Camp (7-12 years)
Program Fee:  $50.00 per child
Your children age seven to 12 will enjoy activities such as games, gym time, arts and crafts, and movies.  Several field trips are also scheduled.  Kids need to bring a non-perishable lunch and a snack. 
Monday - Friday                      April 2 – 6                                            8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Summer Day Camp (7-12 years)
Program Fee:  $50.00 per session
Children ages seven to 12 will have the opportunity to enjoy an exciting summer filled with non-stop fun and activity.  Each week will find your child(ren) enjoying new experiences through games, teambuilding activities, character development activities, field trips, computer education and more.  Registration begins April 2, 2007.

Parents Night Out (6-12 years)
Program Fee:    $10.00
Mom or Dad, enjoy a break from the kids, knowing they will be safe and secure participating in our “Parents Night Out” program.  Kids will have the chance to participate in activities throughout the facility, including the Gymnasium and Computer Education Resource Center.  A small snack will be provided.  Pre-registration is required and is due the Wednesday before the program.

Games Night (7-17 years)
Program Fee: $1.00
During scheduled times during each month, kids will have the opportunity to come and play video games, board games, complete puzzles and socialize with other kids their age.

Projects-to-Go!  (7-17 years)
Program Fee: $7.00
Young arts and crafts enthusiasts will have fun making fun and simple projects that they can take home with them upon completion.   Program fee covers the cost of materials.  Pre-registration is required and is due the Wednesday before each “Projects-to-Go!” session.
